the beast

The show, a synthesis of theatrical performing, stage installation, music and video art, perfectly integrated into the space that hosts it, aspires to be an aesthetic and at the same time emotional experience for the audience.

Premiere: March 14, 2014

Eclipses Group Theater presents at the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art from March 14 and only for 4 performances, the performance "The Beast" by Nikos Ortetzatos.

It is a poetic monologue that is played for the first time. The hero, a painter, confronts his past, his loneliness, his fears and instincts and confronts himself on a "journey" that will lead him to redemption.

The show, a synthesis of theatrical performing, stage installation, music and video art, perfectly integrated into the space that hosts it, aspires to be an aesthetic and at the same time emotional experience for the audience.

"To make art or to fall in love?
Why so much distance from instinct?
Why do we fear the beast we hide inside us?
The painter as he struggles to come to an end before he is lost in his eternal history "once upon a time there was man..."
A journey from darkness to light, as from birth to death.
Nature is the greatest artist…”
